Ohio Edison celebrated the safety achievements of employees at Warren Service Center. Seventy employees received the President’s Safety Excellence Award for working five years without an OSHA-recordable incident. Eight employees also were recognized as members of Ohio Edison’s Quarter Century of Safety Club for working 25 years or more OSHA-free.
“I appreciate and respect our Warren employees and the effort they’ve consistently put into working safely,” said Ed Shuttleworth, regional president, Ohio Edison. “Five years doesn’t just happen – it takes personal commitment and dedication. This is a great accomplishment by all 70 employees.”
Bargaining-unit employees at Warren are represented by IBEW Local 1194.
