It may not be as well-known as the Lombardi Trophy, but Escalent’s Utility Residential Customer Champion award – which recognizes a company’s strong engagement with local residential customers – is prestigious in the utility industry. And for 2019, West Penn Power can proudly call itself a customer champion.

West Penn Power received the award based on results from the Cogent Syndicated 2019 Utility Trusted Brand & Customer Engagement TM residential study, which measured customer relationship engagement among 140 electric and natural gas utilities. According to the study, West Penn Power demonstrated excellence in the areas of service satisfaction, brand trust and product experiences.

“It’s a great honor to be recognized for having a strong relationship with our customers,” said John Rea, regional president, West Penn Power. “We continually strive to maintain their trust through enhanced reliability, improved technology, and a commitment to being a value-added partner serving our customers’ changing energy needs.”
