On Tuesday, January 27, we welcomed five new co‑op students to FEHQ as we kicked off the Spring Co‑op Session, which runs through early May. These students will be working within the Power Delivery and Construction & Design Services teams, diving right into meaningful projects from day one.

Over the next few months, they’ll gain hands-on experience, participate in professional development events, build their professional networks and give back to the community through volunteer activities.

It’s an opportunity for them to put classroom learning into practice while developing as well‑rounded emerging professionals.

Our college program is all about bridging the gap between academics and the real world. Ultimately, our aim is to help these talented students transition into full-time roles with us after graduation, shaping the next generation of engineers at FirstEnergy.
