​West Penn Power recognized employees at the Uniontown Service Center for working two years without an OSHA-recordable incident and more than one year without a chargeable motor vehicle accident.

Members of the group celebrated their safety milestones at a luncheon event. Regional President David McDonald was on hand to present the President’s Safety Excellence Award to Uniontown’s 34 employees.

“Members of our Uniontown group have shown a commitment to safety that will help to drive our company-wide efforts to better recognize and eliminate job-related risks,” David says.

Bargaining-unit employees at Uniontown are represented by Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) Local 102.
