Supporting Our Friends in Need

December 1, 2021

Employees in our Met-Ed service territory provided support for two worthy causes.

Members of our EBRG Women in Leadership – SW Pennsylvania and Thrive, along with Met-Ed employees, helped the IM Able Foundation host a demo day so people with challenges could try off-road hand cycling. The foundation’s mission is to remove obstacles that prevent people from being physically active by providing grants, resources, fitness opportunities and motivation.

Our volunteers after the event.

Members of the Reading Young Professionals volunteered at the local Harvest for Hunger food bank. The group packaged items into emergency food boxes for those in need.
