FirstEnergy volunteers made a positive impact across our service territory, including at some cultural and historical locations.

Met-Ed’s employees worked at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of York, Pa. They cleared brush and weeds outdoors and helped organize the childcare space inside.

Volunteers, l.-r.: Joe Malda; Emma Nowak, JCC; Roxanna O’Leary; and Shayne Smith.

L.-r.: Kurt Gerrick, Dan Nelson and Don Smith joined Keith Lutz, York Township inspector, for outdoor duty at JCC.

These Ohio Edison employees supported the United Way of Clark, Champaign and Madison Counties at the Crabill Homestead, a historic site in Springfield, Ohio. They landscaped, cut down trees and cleaned inside the home.

L.-r.: Joe Hodge, Connie Wilcox, Becky Johnson, Eric Skabla, Josh Cross, Nathan Esposito, Gary Mincer and Teresa Simkins.

The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Ligonier, Pa., greatly appreciated our team of West Penn Power volunteers. The group cleaned windows and painted outdoor art sculptures..
