Keeping our Ohio communities strong has been a recent mission of the FirstEnergy Foundation. Here are two examples.

Keith Boales, president of Community Improvement Corporation of Ashland, proudly displays a $1,500 FirstEnergy Foundation check. The funds will be used for operational support.

The Uptown Business Improvement Grant program received a $1,000 FirstEnergy Foundation check. The grant program encourages businesses in the Village of Plain City’s Historic Uptown District to make additions or improvements to attract and serve customers.
