Storing Up Safety

January 23, 2020

Warehouse employees at the Fort Martin and Harrison power stations were recently recognized for their efforts in “storing up” safety:

  • Harrison Storeroom employees surpassed 21 years without an OSHA-recordable incident. Bargaining-unit employees at the station are represented by UWUA Local 304.
  • Storeroom employees at Fort Martin marked 16 years without an OSHA recordable.

The safety achievements were recognized with lunch events at each site. “Working for that length of time OSHA free is a tremendous accomplishment,” Chris Trump said. “You’ve done an outstanding job watching out for your safety and that of your coworkers.”

Tiffany Prah, Material Operations general supervisor, added: “I’m proud of our Fort Martin and Harrison employees for staying safe while working daily in demanding industrial environments.”
