FirstEnergy employees volunteer for a wide range of community events. Here are examples of employees lending a helping hand for robotics and science competitions.

KSS Robotics in Kent, Ohio, received $1,000 from the FirstEnergy Foundation to support a FIRST Tech Challenge competition for 28 local teams at Kent State University. FirstEnergy employees volunteered as judges, competition support, scorekeepers, wireless network support, volunteer coordination, referees and field reset support personnel. Our employees also mentored three teams participating in the event.
