The following Pennsylvania work groups recently achieved safety milestones:

West Penn Power

• Jeannette – The service center received the President’s Safety Excellence Award for achieving two years without an OSHA-recordable incident on Dec. 5. There are 86 employees based at the facility.

Bargaining-unit employees at West Penn Power are represented by Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) Local 102.

Met-Ed

• Reading – The service center’s 210 employees celebrated one year without an OSHA recordable on Nov. 21.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 777 represents union employees at Met-Ed.

Penelec

• Indiana – The district achieved two years without an OSHA recordable. There are 34 employees in the group.

Bargaining-unit employees at the Indiana facility are represented by IBEW Local 459.

Penn Power

• New Castle – Four employees in Meter Services achieved five years of OSHA-free work and 15 years without a controllable motor vehicle accident.

UWUA Local 140 represents bargaining-unit employees at New Castle.
