​Met-Ed’s Stroudsburg Service Center recently achieved four years of OSHA-free work. In recognition, the group received the President’s Safety Excellence Award at a recent lunch event.

“What a tremendous accomplishment for Stroudsburg employees,” said Linda Moss, regional president, Met-Ed. “We thank them all for their strong safety focus in creating an environment where working and driving safely are a core value. We look forward to more employee safety celebrations as we transition from a compliance-based to an exposure-based approach.”

Approximately 30 employees work at the Stroudsburg facility. Bargaining-unit members are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 777.
