Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) honored the safety achievements of the following Operations Support groups:

• Employees working the day shift in Central New Jersey Fleet Services celebrated 18 years without an OSHA-recordable incident. The group consists of 13 employees based at the Farmingdale and Lakewood facilities.
• Approximately 30 employees in Meter Services at Farmingdale marked 11 years without an OSHA recordable.

“Working safely for such extended periods takes focus and commitment,” said Pat Mullin, director, Regional Operations Support. “We’re proud of the efforts of each member of the Fleet and Meter Services groups.”

Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1289.
