Met-Ed employees at the Dillsburg and Gettysburg service centers received the President’s Safety Excellence Award for working one year without an OSHA-recordable injury. Approximately 30 Met-Ed employees from the two service centers celebrated this achievement during separate luncheon events.

“I am very proud of our employees in Dillsburg and Gettysburg for their accomplishment. Their commitment to safety is made evident by this achievement, and I appreciate and respect them for it.” says Ed Shuttleworth, Met-Ed regional president.

Bargaining-unit employees at Dillsburg and Gettysburg are represented by International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 777.
