October 11, 2018

Mon Power recognized the safety excellence of employees at the following service centers:

  • Marlinton – for working three years without an OSHA-recordable incident. Ten employees are based at the facility.
  • Clarksburg – for achieving one year of OSHA-free work. The service center is home base for 52 employees. Bargaining-unit members are represented by International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 2357.
  • Webster – for surpassing one year without an OSHA recordable. Eight employees work at the service center. IBEW Local 2357 represents union employees at the site.

The Marlinton, Clarksburg and Webster groups received the President’s Safety Excellence Award at separate luncheon events.

“We certainly appreciate the safety focus of Marlinton, Clarksburg and Webster employees,” says Holly Kauffman, president, West Virginia Operations. “Their commitment to completing their work safely each day will help us to achieve our goal of eliminating the risks that lead to on-the-job injuries.”
