​Employees in the following work groups were recognized for safety excellence.

West Penn Power

• Latrobe – The service center achieved eight years without an OSHA-recordable incident on Feb. 5. Forty-nine employees are based at the facility.

Bargaining-unit employees at West Penn Power are represented by Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) Local 102.

Mon Power

• Webster – Nine employees achieved three years without an OSHA recordable on Jan. 10. The service center also has gone 56 years without a lost work-time injury. Bargaining-unit employees at Webster are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 2357.

Toledo Edison

• Lindsey – The service center’s 27 employees celebrated seven years of OHSA-free work. IBEW Local 245 represents union employees at Lindsey.

The Illuminating Company (CEI)

• Middlefield – Eleven employees in the Lines group surpassed eight years without a controllable motor vehicle accident (CMVA).
• Concord – Members of the Lines group have gone one year without a CMVA. There are 40 employees in the group.

Bargaining-unit employees at CEI are represented by UWUA Local 270.
