​Mon Power presented the President’s Safety Excellence Award to employees at the following service centers:

• Summersville – for achieving two years without an OSHA-recordable incident. Seventeen employees are based at the facility.
• Fairlea – in recognition of one year without an OSHA recordable. There are 43 employees working at the center. Bargaining-unit members are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 50.
• Webster – in celebration of one year of OSHA-free work. IBEW Local 2357 represents bargaining-unit employees at the facility.

“I am proud of our Summersville, Fairlea and Webster employees and commend them for working injury free,” said Holly Kauffman, president, West Virginia Operations. “They are committed to keeping each other safe by recognizing and mitigating exposure to job hazards, treating no task as routine, and using strong communication skills at worksites.”
