FirstEnergy realizes the importance of having a warm, secure place to live. Whether it’s contributing funds for new housing or supporting a community-based housing shelter, the FirstEnergy Foundation provides a variety of housing assistance for residents in need.
Brian Paganie, consultant, Regional External Affairs (left), and Marybeth Smialek, manager, Regional External Affairs (Penelec), presented a $10,000 FirstEnergy Foundation check to Mark Alexa, executive director, Community Shelter Services. The Erie (Pa.) organization provides housing and supportive services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
