Providing On-Hand Assistance

Instead of settling in at home before last Saturday’s snowstorm, a group of FirstEnergy employees was out helping customers at the Annual Energy Assistance Expo in Cleveland. On hand were Terry Killeen, manager, Regional External Affairs; Chandra Adler, FirstEnergy Contact Center (FECC) supervisor; Jennifer Meade, FECC acting coordinator, Customer Care; and Kelly Curry and Sharon Williams, FECC Customer Service assistants.
The expo focused on helping low-income individuals receive assistance with their utility bills. Members of the FirstEnergy group spent the day working with customers to give them a better understanding of their electric bill. As a result, many attendees left the event armed with information on how to lower their bill.
