Employees at Potomac Edison’s Petersburg Service Center celebrated five years without an OSHA-recordable incident. Jim Sears, president, Maryland Operations, presented the group’s 12 employees with the President’s Safety Excellence Award at a lunch celebration.

“Petersburg employees earned this recognition with their strong safety performance,” Jim said. “We appreciate their commitment to safe work practices while helping to ensure reliable service for customers.”

Bargaining-unit employees at Petersburg are represented by Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) Local 102.
