The Fort Martin Safety Team recently hosted a successful September blood drive on power station grounds facilitated by the American Red Cross. A total of 30 employees and contractors generously participated by donating blood, which is currently in short supply across the country. The Red Cross collected 25 units of blood during Fort Martin’s drive – enough to potentially save up to 75 lives.

“The Red Cross said our blood drive was some of the best hospitality they had ever experienced at a remote location,” said Andrew Pozun, Senior Safety Representative.
