Ohio Edison – A Champion for Our Customers

More than 50,000 customer reviews were used to evaluate 130 electric and natural gas utilities.

Ohio Edison was recognized as a 2017 Utility Customer Champion by Market Strategies International, whose Cogent Reports™ study showed Ohio Edison demonstrated strength in the key areas of brand trust, product experience and operational satisfaction.

Compared with 129 other electric and natural gas utilities, Ohio Edison also ranked among the best on the Engaged Customer Relationship (ECR) Index, earning a score of 727 on the ECR metric. This placed Ohio Edison 13th in electric utilities across the U.S. and third in the Midwest region category.

Last year, Ohio Edison was named Most Trusted Brand among residential customers. The honor stemmed from the operating company’s results in the Utility Trusted Brand & Customer Engagement™ Residential study by Cogent Reports. Cogent Reports has conducted research on utility topics for more than 30 years.
