Dōmo Arigatō, Mr. Roboto*​

Visitors to the recent New Jersey State Fair were greeted by a high-tech strolling act dressed in a Jersey Central Power & Light T-shirt and baseball cap. It was OSCAR the Robot!

As a sponsor of the fair, JCP&L arranged for an appearance by OSCAR, who wheeled about the grounds entertaining crowds with his witty conversation, music and antics. OSCAR was popular with fairgoers, receiving many hugs and posing for a lot of photos.
