JCP&L recently was among the companies recognized by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) and COMMERCE Magazine with the Environmental Leadership Medal.

This award honors companies that are reducing waste, conserving energy and protecting the environment in ways that improve quality of life and are good for business. JCP&L was recognized for its efforts to protect ospreys through the nest relocation and mitigation program, which moves existing nests away from power equipment and discourages future lodging on our facilities.

Medal recipients were honored at an awards ceremony and featured in the April 2019 issue of the magazine.
