The FirstEnergy Foundation awarded a $1,000 check to Girls on the Run of Berks County, Pa. Girls on the Run is a nonprofit program that works to encourage girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games culminating in a celebratory 5k run.
