Once again, the FirstEnergy Foundation supported nonprofit organizations in our communities through its Gifts of the Season initiative. The checks were delivered during the holidays throughout our service area.

Receiving a $10,000 Gifts of the Season check was Toys for Tots of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The organization collects and distributes Christmas gifts to less-fortunate children across the Cleveland area. (see photo above)

Holiday Family Outreach, Inc. in Gettysburg, Pa., received a $5,000 Gifts of the Season check. The organization provides Christmas toys and food to hundreds of low-income families in Adams County each year.
