We’re proud to share that we were recognized with the Leadership Partner Apple Award from the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, an honor that highlights our long-standing commitment to community service and hunger relief.

FirstEnergy is one of the Foodbank’s Guiding Partners, and we have consistently demonstrated leadership through both financial support and volunteerism. In 2024 alone, our employees volunteered at the Foodbank 295 times, contributing 809 hours of hands-on service. Food and financial contributions from FirstEnergy, the FirstEnergy Foundation and FirstEnergy Associates provided the equivalent of more than 420,000 meals.

Additionally, Hyun Park, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, serves on the Foodbank’s Board of Directors offering strategic guidance and advocacy that supports the organization’s mission.
