Everyone Loves a Parade

January 23, 2018

Toledo Edison and Met-Ed employees, along with our PSI (Power Systems Institute) students participated in fun parades during the holiday season to brighten the faces of local children and adults.

A group of Toledo Edison employees once again donned colorful clown wear and supported the 30th Annual Toledo Holiday Parade as members of the Distinguished Clown Corps. (DCC). The funds raised by participating as a clown helped to underwrite the parade’s cost. In the photo, l.-r.: Jennifer Fehnrich, Owens Community College; Meg Adams, manager, External Affairs; Brad Gillespie, manager Customer Accounts; Brandi Gillespie (Brad’s wife); and Trina Myers, Customer Account specialist.

Met-Ed employees and Power Systems Institute (PSI) students participated in the Reading Holiday Parade (top photo). The group distributed treats along with information on energy efficiency, low-income programs and the Power Systems Institute program. Louie the Lightning Bug also helped spread holiday cheer.
