JCP&L recognized the safety achievements of employees in the following Fleet Services groups:

• North New Jersey second shift celebrated 18 years without an OSHA-recordable incident. There are 10 employees in the group.
• North New Jersey day shift marked 16 years without an OSHA recordable. The shift crew consists of 12 employees.
• Central New Jersey second shift celebrated six years without an OSHA recordable. There are seven employees in the group.

“Working safely for such extended periods is a tremendous accomplishment,” says Pat Mullin, director, Regional Operations Support. “We commend members of our Fleet Services groups for watching out for their safety – as well as the safety of their coworkers by ensuring that JCP&L vehicles take to the road in good operating condition.”

Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1289.
