Customer Shout Out

A Toms River, N.J., customer called to commend Jersey Central Power & Light employee Rich Akers for coming to her assistance. The woman said she was struggling to maneuver her husband – who’s in a wheelchair – into their home. A meter reader/collector, Rich asked if he could help and then moved the man into the house without any problem. When she called to express her appreciation, the customer referred to Rich as an “angel.”
