Community Love at CEI

February 25, 2021

Providing support for environmental education and volunteering for a local employment assistance program are just two examples of the many ways employees at The Illuminating Company (CEI) are making our communities stronger.

The River Sprouts Greenhouse project in Rocky River received a $2,500 FirstEnergy Foundation check. River Sprouts focuses on environmental education, while providing food to local families in need – especially those suffering hardships during the pandemic. In addition to the generous service River Sprouts offers to seniors and people in need, the greenhouse program provides local students with practical and applied learning experiences that help advance an educated workforce in our area.
