Soon, customers will start seeing the company’s new brand campaign that taps into the stories of employees who are working to make a brighter future for our customers, as well as our communities and the environment. Called Brighter Future, this campaign illustrates our employees’ commitment to delivering what matters most to customers – the safe, reliable and affordable energy that powers their everyday lives.

Building on the customer-centric messaging in the previous You First ad campaign, Brighter Future will further strengthen our brand as a forward-thinking utility by featuring our employees working to serve customers today and the investments we’re making – in technology and in our workforce – to ensure we continue to meet our customers’ needs in the future.

“Our Brighter Future campaign is a reflection of the company’s mission statement,” said Vice President, Communications and Branding Gretchan Sekulich. “By putting the spotlight on a diverse group of employees and their stories, we’re showing customers the various ways our employees put our mission statement into action – creating a brighter future by finding smarter ways to deliver the power customers rely on nearly every minute of every day.”

The campaign will run through March 2019 and will feature a number of stories. The first story highlights efforts to protect osprey nests on transmission lines. Later stories will feature a lineman who has spent his career putting others first, a substation electrician reaching new heights and blazing a path for anyone who wishes to follow in her impressive footsteps, and others still being developed.

The TV commercials, radio spots, billboards and digital and social media ads all encourage customers to visit where they can view longer documentary-style videos that provides the full story behind each commercial.

In some areas, billboards will be utilized to reinforce our message.
