The Annual Meeting of Shareholders is Tuesday, May 21 at 8 a.m. at the John S. Knight Center in Akron.

Company shareholders as of the March 22 record date should have received the FirstEnergy proxy materials to vote online, by phone or by completing and mailing their proxy card/voting instruction form.

The Company’s Board of Directors recommends voting “FOR” the election of the nominees in Item 1 and the proposals in Items 2 through 6, and “AGAINST” the shareholder proposal in Item 7.
