Every child should have the opportunity to enjoy riding a bicycle. It’s a childhood rite of passage. And thanks to the FirstEnergy Foundation, children with disabilities now have that chance.

Recently, the FirstEnergy Foundation donated $500 to American Business Club – or AMBUCS – to support its Amtryke program, which provides specially adapted bicycles for children with disabilities. National AMBUCS, Inc. is a nonprofit charitable organization with a diverse membership dedicated to overcoming mobility and independence challenges.
