A Second Life for Laptops

Several laptops were donated to the Marion County Child Advocacy Center (MCCAC) in Fairmont, W.Va. FirstEnergy’s commitment to sustainability includes more than environmental efforts. Instead of discarding used FirstEnergy laptops, the devices are cleaned of all information and donated to community organizations.

FirstEnergy donated eight laptops to the Shippensburg Public Library for its new education room addition. The laptops will provide needed technology for various training and library programs.
