JCP&L Powered Up for National Night Out

National Night Out (NNO) was held Tues., Aug. 7 in communities across the country to build neighborhood camaraderie and awareness of law enforcement and local safety programs. Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) participated in NNO events in Morristown, Point Pleasant and Pompton Lakes, N.J, to show continued support of the communities we serve and demonstrate why safety is important to our employees and customers. In Morristown, Customer Account Specialists, Laurie Woods and Mohammad Hussain worked at the event along with Karl Van Den Berg, Ron Moore and Keith Paine, JCP&L supervisors of Regional Operations, Line & Sub East. The Point Pleasant NNO event was managed by John Meehan, area manager and John Contos, Operations Services manager. Ron Morano, senior communications representative, attended the Pompton Lakes event and spoke with local officials and members of the community about JCP&L safety initiatives.
