Providing Assistance Where Needed

Representatives from three nonprofit organizations in our Potomac Edison territory were very appreciative of FirstEnergy Foundation support.
Lasting Change in Hagerstown received a $10,000 check. The facility provides addiction recovery services for women. The grant specifically supports the career development program that provides clients with job readiness skills to facilitate their pathway toward independent living.

The Allegany (Md.) County Chamber of Commerce received a $1,000 grant. The funds will be used for the chamber’s first Like a Woman conference.

Located in Cumberland, Md., the Union Rescue Mission’s Andrea Ziler and Pastor David Ziler, with their $2,250 FirstEnergy Foundation grant check. The funds will support the mission’s holiday meal program.
