Employees in the following work groups were recognized for their “safety first” commitment.

Mon Power

• Virginia Avenue – The Controls group achieved 19 years without an OSHA-recordable incident on Feb. 7. Twenty-one employees work in the group. Bargaining-unit members are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 2357.

Potomac Edison

• Petersburg – The service center achieved eight years without a controllable motor vehicle accident (CMVA). Twelve employees work at the facility. Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) Local 102 represents bargaining-unit members.

Toledo Edison

• Holland A – The service center celebrated one year without an OSHA recordable on Feb. 24. Approximately 100 employees are based at the site.
• Lakewood – Approximately 130 employees at the facility achieved one year of OSHA-free work on Feb. 26.

Bargaining-unit employees at Holland A and Lakewood are represented by Office and Professional Employees International Union Local 19 or IBEW Local 245.

Customer Service

Akron – Members of the contact center celebrated three years without an OSHA recordable. There are 214 employees and contractors working at the center.
