Employees in our Penelec and Potomac Edison service area made a difference in the lives of others during the holiday season.
Several employees at Penelec’s Towanda Operations Center participated at the local Salvation Army’s Christmas Angel Tree project. Employees adopted 20 angels (children) from the tree and purchased clothing, toys and books for each child.

With a few of the angel gifts, l.-r.: Katie Payne, administrative assistant; Jody Place, consultant, Regional External Affairs; and Glenn Owen, claims representative.
In Honor of Veterans Day, employees at Potomac Edison purchased and prepared care packages for distribution to veterans through the Come All Who are Thirsty organization in Sharpsburg, Md. In addition to the care packages, $950 was raised for local food banks.

With a few of the packages, l.-r.: Katie Barnes, senior administrative assistant, and Wayne Rummel, general manager, Regional Operations Services.
