Safety Honors

The following JCP&L work groups achieved recent safety milestones:
- Dover/Morristown – Fleet Services celebrated 20 years without an OSHA-recordable incident recordable. There are 14 employees in the group.
- Farmingdale/Lakewood – Fifteen employees in Fleet Services achieved 16 years without a controllable motor vehicle accident (CMVA).
- Freehold/Old Bridge – Meter Reading has driven 13 years without a CMVA. Nineteen employees work in the group.
- Union Beach – Meter Reading has gone six years without a CMVA. There are 12 employees in the group.
- West Wharton – Sixteen employees in Transmission Construction & Maintenance achieved six years without a CMVA.
- North New Jersey – Eleven employees in the Mobile Construction group have driven six years without a CMVA.
- Wall – Utility Construction & Maintenance has worked OSHA free for five years. The group is comprised of 14 employees.
- Point Pleasant – Thirty-three employees in Collections have not recorded a CMVA in five years.
- Berkeley – Forty-four employees in the Lines group achieved four years of OSHA-free work.
- Newton – Meter Reading has worked OSHA free for one year. There are 11 employees in the group.
Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1289.
