Safety Spotlight at JCP&L

JCP&L recognized work groups at the following service centers for achieving safety milestones in the field and on the road.
- Hopatcong – Fifteen employees in Utility Construction & Maintenance (UC&M) have driven eight years without a controllable motor vehicle accident (CMVA).
- Union Beach – The UC&M group’s 14 employees achieved seven years without an OSHA-recordable incident.
- Point Pleasant – Thirty-three employees in Collections have worked OSHA free for four years.
- Phillipsburg/Washington – Meter Reading celebrated three years without a CMVA. The group is comprised of 14 employees.
- Washington – Forty employees in the Lines group eclipsed one year without a CMVA.
Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1289.
