The FirstEnergy Foundation contributed $1,000 to the Asbury Park Music Foundation (APMF). They are joined by local high school students at The Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth County. Through our contribution, these students will have three extra “Open Mic” nights where they can perform in front of a live crowd at no cost. The students also learn from industry professionals on state-of-the-art equipment, acquiring the skills to write, produce and market their art.

A group of JCP&L employees volunteered for the Monmouth County Trunk or Treat event, where children receive Halloween treats from vehicles in designated locations. At the event, back row, l.-r.: Sen. The United Way of Northern New Jersey (UWNNJ) received a $29,534 corporate donation check. At the presentation, l.-r.: Carol Bianchi, consultant, Regional External Affairs; Bob Flynn, consultant, Regional External Affairs; and John Franklin, CEO, UWNNJ.

Frank Luna, consultant, Regional External Affairs (far. r.), presented 20 laptops to HABcore in Red Bank Borough. HABcore provides permanent housing and support to homeless families, veterans and individuals with special needs.
