JCP&L Recognizes Safety Marks

Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) recognized the safety efforts of Lines employees at the following service centers:

  • Cookstown celebrated 14 years without an OSHA-recordable incident. Twelve employees work in the group.
  • Flemington’s 33 employees surpassed four years of working without an OSHA recordable.
  • Freehold achieved two years of OSHA-free work. The group consists of 33 employees.

“We commend the Cookstown, Flemington and Freehold groups for their dedication to safe work practices – from following proper procedures to wearing the required personal protective equipment,” said Ralph Hillmer, director, Operations Services, JCP&L.

Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1289.
