West Penn Power recognized the safety achievements of employees at the following sites:

• Latrobe Service Center celebrated five years without an OSHA-recordable incident and more than one year without a chargeable motor vehicle accident (CMVA). Forty-three employees are based at the facility.
• Greensburg Corporate Center marked four years without an OSHA recordable and more than one year without a CMVA. There are 142 West Penn Power employees at the site, including 73 at the Greensburg Distribution Control Center.

“We want to thank our Latrobe and Greensburg employees for their continued focus on eliminating exposure to injuries in the field, on the road or in an office setting,” said John Rea, regional president, West Penn Power.

Members of the Latrobe and Greensburg groups celebrated at separate lunch events. Bargaining-unit employees at West Penn Power are represented by Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) Local 102.
