Safety Recognition at JCP&L

Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) recognized the safety achievements of the following Operations Support groups:

  • Approximately 20 employees in Old Bridge Meter Reading marked nine years without an OSHA-recordable incident.
  • Toms River Meter Reading reached six years without an OSHA recordable. There are about 20 employees in the group.
  • Nine employees in Dover Meter Services celebrated one year of OSHA-free work.

“We appreciate the dedicated efforts of employees in Meter Reading at Old Bridge and Toms River and the Dover Meter Services group. They are in the field every day working safely to serve our customers,” said Pat Mullin, director, Regional Operations Support.

Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1289.
