Jim Fakult Recognized on NJBiz, ROI-NJ Power Lists

April 5, 2019
JCP&L President Jim Fakult recently was honored by two New Jersey business publications for his leadership at the company and within the state’s business community.
NJBiz magazine named Jim to its annual Power 100 list, citing JCP&L’s four-year plan filed with the Board of Public Utilities to spend $400 million on infrastructure upgrades. It also noted Jim’s comments during the recent N.J. Chamber of Commerce Walk to Washington event: “What [the plan] translates to is reliable, resilient service. It also creates hundreds of very good-paying, union jobs in the state.”
NJBiz publishes its Power 100 list every year, defining those named as “economic actors who are in a position to help shape the future.” Jim previously was named to the list in 2017.
Jim also was named by ROI-NJ to The ROI Influencers Power List 2019: Executives. The publication praised him for helping the company “to transform and upgrade in all areas since he took over in 2013.”
ROI-NJ is an omnichannel business media company delivering news and features that provide businesses in New Jersey with a Return On Information. This is the second year it has published its ROI Influencers Power List rolls.
“As honored as I feel, these recognitions really are a testament to our employees,” said Jim. “More than 1,500 dedicated JCP&L and FirstEnergy employees work safely and tirelessly every day to provide excellent service to our customers. Employees deserve credit and thanks for the role they play in maintaining our reputation and service.”
Congratulations, Jim and JCP&L.
