Seventy-seven employees at Penn Power’s Cranberry Area Service Building celebrated two years without an OSHA-recordable incident. In recognition, the group received the President’s Safety Excellence Award.

The company also honored the following Cranberry employees as members of the Quarter Century of Safety Club for working 25 years or more without an OSHA recordable: Gary Wright (39 years), Cathy Fiel (38), John Cancelliere (30), Gary Himmelwright (30), William Campbell (29), Buddy McClelland (28), Charles Speicher (28) and Charles Keller (27).

“It was great getting together with Cranberry employees to thank them for their continued commitment to taking care of themselves and watching out for each other,” said Rich Sweeney, regional president, Ohio Edison/Penn Power.

Bargaining-unit employees at Cranberry are represented by Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) Local 140.
