Once again, the Perry team showed its pride and commitment to excellence as it cleaned up, cleaned out and improved the plant’s appearance during the Sept. 7 Perry Pride Day.

Following pre-job briefs highlighting safety, teams of employees headed out to various areas throughout the entire site. The focus was on painting, cleaning up several areas and ensuring ladders were properly stored. And, as always, teams made sure the walkways and entrance ways were clean and neat.

“Thank you to everyone who participated in Perry Pride Day,” said David Hamilton, Perry site vice president. “Your efforts and your commitment to being a nuclear professional and promoting excellence at Perry are evident.”

(L.-r.) Jeff Miranda, Engineering, Chris Durham, Radiation Protection (RP), Mike Roberts, Site Protection, and Ashley Sullivan, Site Projects, conduct an RP brief before heading into the Radiological Controlled Area.
