FirstEnergy’s Power Systems Institute (PSI) is seeking interested applicants to train as the next generation of overhead line workers and substation electricians. If you have a friend or family member who would make a good candidate for the program, please let them know about this exciting opportunity.

PSI provides students with the skills they need to pursue a career in the electric utility industry. The two-year program combines technical coursework at local community colleges with hands-on training at company facilities. (See sidebar for a list of partnering schools.)
Best of all, tuition, required books and lab fees are paid by FirstEnergy for qualified applicants, and students who successfully complete the program will have the potential to be hired by one of our 10 operating companies.
