Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) recognized 12 Meter Reading employees at the Union Beach Service Center for their safety excellence. Members of the group have worked eight years without an OSHA-recordable incident.

“Working safely takes a total focus on the task at hand,” says Pat Mullin, director, Operations Support, JCP&L. “We’re proud of members of our Union Beach Meter Reading group for showing that commitment for such an extended period.”

Bargaining-unit employees at JCP&L are represented by International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1289.
