Ohio Edison Regional President Randy Frame received the following email commending the efforts of Andy Kaminski, line troubleshooter U-1.
I wanted to send you a personal note regarding a very positive experience my wife and I had with an Ohio Edison employee this weekend. His name is Andy Kaminski.
Late on Saturday, Andy made a service call to our home. I won’t get into specifics, but Andy went above and beyond to ensure that we did not go without power. My wife and I appreciate his hard work and service – and wanted to make sure you know how great of a job he did.

Richard Drevon, supervisor, Substations, Penn Power, was among the FEU employees assisting with power restoration efforts in Met-Ed’s service territory following major snow storms in March. The following letter was received from a customer in one of the hardest-hit areas in northeastern Pennsylvania.
As you know, we experienced some devastating winter storms recently and our community was without power for more than a week. During this time, I had the pleasure to meet Richard. I provided him with a map of our large community, and we exchanged contact information to communicate on storm damage and repair efforts. Over the course of several days, I sent him pictures and locations of downed trees, downed power lines and other areas of concern. He was extremely helpful and responded to me regarding our concerns – often within the hour.
Richard is a remarkable employee. He went above and beyond to ensure the needs of our residents were addressed and power eventually was restored. … Employees like Richard and others on the ground teams must be commended. Richard clearly has a solid work ethic and passion for his job.
